Therapy For More Ease
When you’re
tired of
turning against yourself
Together we’ll make space for curiousity, compassion, and the parts of you that have been pushed aside.
Hi, I’m Isabella.
I specialize in working with adults, couples and families to facilitate greater understanding around everyday struggles. I take a compassionate approach, balancing curiosity with challenging patterns that no longer support overall wellbeing.
I’m a native Austinite who loves cooking, gardening, cuddling with my dogs, and eating cookies with my husband. On weekends, you’ll often find me curled up with a good book, sipping espresso, taking short (but luxurious) naps, or listening to true crime podcasts while I vacuum.
“We can learn to tune into the true sources of our anger and clarify where we stand.”
Harriet Lerner
quiet the inner critic and reconnect with yourself
Life brings challenges, and yet, instead of fear, anger, or despair being met with understanding, we may attack and blame ourselves.
Some of us may be quick to judge ourselves by standards we'd never apply to those we love.
Your methods of coping with stressors could look like:
Disordered eating: Trying to quiet your inner critic’s voice by chasing perfection in how you look or what you eat.
Substance use: Reaching for alcohol or other substances when you need relief from the relentless self-talk.
Depression and anxiety: Feeling stuck in a cycle—afraid to make mistakes, exhausted from the constant inner berating.
Overworking, over-exercising, or self-harm: Pushing your body to its limits in hopes of escaping the noise inside.
Take a breath, a new path awaits. Often, when we begin to understand our patterns with more compassion and context, the path forward becomes clearer. I’m here to gently support that process—helping you listen differently to yourself and discover new ways of being that feel more aligned, kind, and sustainable.
My Services
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy provides a dedicated space to explore what may be blindspots in how we respond to life’s challenges. We'll work together to uncover the origins of self-criticism, gain deeper insight and understanding around your situation, and connect more deeply with yourself. Over time, this work can lead to greater self-acceptance, a kinder inner dialogue and healthier relationships.
